Take off point today was Wanaka withthe intent of heading up Aoraki/mt Cook Awesome ride through the Lindis pass were able to push it to warp speed through till about Twizel when the Intergalactic winds kicked up bad got to within 12 ks of Aoraki when We were definitely trying to hail Scotty to beam us up Bevin turned my bike while I raced to hold his then we had a terrifying run to Lake Tekapo where met few other space travellers in similar tramatised state Was so bad the water from lake was blowing across road & under his helmet & my bike was skipping acids median despite leaning over into it. We were shattered when we got to Geraldine which was a pretty little town.
